This year’s Soup’s On event will be taking place February 25th from 11am-1pm! SOUP’S ON WILL BE HELD AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION THIS YEAR!! Join us at the Edgerton Highschool to enjoy more than 15+ soups! Check out the 2023 Soup’s On soup list HERE.

Pandemic Food Share Benefits to END

Beginning late 2020, many families that receive Food Share Benefits (formally known as Food Stamps) received an increased allotment each month due to the impacts of Covid-19. These benefits will end February of 2023! It will be a huge hit on the budget and level of Food Security that those have come to know for the past 1.5 years. Edgerton Community Outreach (ECO) Food Pantry has been serving 65-70 households each month for the past 1.5 years. Prior to the pandemic it was very common for 150 households to visit the pantry every month. ECO is preparing to serve this higher household count each month. YOU CAN HELP!! Much of the food distributed by ECO is collected through donations. Donations can be dropped off at Edgerton Outreach and drop bins at Piggly Wiggly & Edgerton hospital. ECO staff also shops sales and order through Second Harvest to keep the pantry shelves stocked. Monetary donations can be dropped ff in the secure lockbox in the front of the thrift store, made online (edgertonoutreach.org), or can be mailed to 106 S. Main St. Edgerton, WI 53534.
