Secured, Formed, and Filled
210 Veteran’s Housing Project continues to remain on schedule thanks greatly to the crew with Bachmann Construction. Since the last project update, the crew has completed setting up the forms, then pouring the concrete for the base of the future elevator, finished the raising of the structural components in the future ceiling, and placed the new support beam and steel columns.
Bachmann Construction has finished raising the structural components and has successfully achieved an average 8″ raise; with some areas raised as high as 11″. With that completed their next step was inserting the new support beam and steel columns.
Tirelessly working, the Bachmann Crew has also completed the first steps towards building the elevator!
In December of 2023, Bachmann Construction began removing the back attachment of 210-212 W Fulton St.
They began cleaning and digging the area to make way for the forms. . .

Jumping back to the present, Bachmann Construction has finished pouring the concrete for the new addition and elevator shaft.
With the completion of the structural issues on the first floor and the concrete base for the elevator Bachmann Construction’s next goal is to begin the process again with the second and third floors. After removing the walls, and securing the structural components it will be time to build the floors back up again.
