Homeless, Not Hopeless

Living in your truck for two years in Wisconsin is not an easy task.  John shared about his struggles and how he heard about Edgerton Community Outreach (ECO).  That assistance pulled his family out of homelessness.  Today they live in a home with running water, a place to eat and to sleep.   At Edgerton Community Outreach, our “new” normal is taking daily calls from people like John who are experiencing homelessness and have nowhere to go.  People needing housing are coming from all walks of life: single, married, and families.

Edgerton Community Outreach provided 372 shelter nights for the first six months of 2021.  The need for housing assistance has more than doubled from the same time period in 2019 and 2020.  Our staff works diligently to help break down the barriers that hinder one’s ability to obtain housing and provide guidance on a path out of homelessness, back to safety, and self-sufficiency.

Your gift today can provide safety, shelter, and the ability to

end the cycle of homelessness.

Our summer campaign is called Homeless, Not Hopeless.  Your gift will support the Edgerton Community Outreach’s Housing Programs.

Please consider a gift today to help with the immediate and growing need. Contributions can be dropped off in the secure donation box inside the Thrift Store, mailed to 106 South Main Street, Edgerton, WI  53534, or given online at www.edgertonoutreach.org.
