Holiday Community Meals
Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner, and Edgerton Outreach is excited to announce our holiday community meals are back!!
With the help of our staff and volunteers, the Outreach is able to offer, cook, and deliver Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to Edgerton area families. We’d love to be able to share the holidays with everyone. With no income restrictions, everyone is welcome to sign-up!
The Thanksgiving and Christmas meals will be made by volunteers and staff at St. John’s Lutheran Church. A special thank you to the church for the continuous support and use of their kitchen! The Thanksgiving meals are scheduled to be distributed on Thanksgiving Day (Nov.24) starting at 11:30am. The Christmas meals will be distributed on Christmas Eve Day (Dec. 24). We will have a dine-in option this year at 12pm only on Thanksgiving Day. If you would like to dine-in you will need to please RSVP for a seat. CHRISTMAS MEAL IS ONLY DELIVERY!!
The menu for each day are as follows:
Thanksgiving: Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy, Green Bean Casserole, Fruit Fluff, a Dinner Roll, and Dessert
Christmas: Ham, Hashbrown Casserole, Green Bean Casserole, Fruit Fluff, a Dinner Roll, and Dessert
The sign-up for this program will begin November 1st! Give Edgerton Outreach a call on our main line @ 608.884.9593 and let us know how many meals you’ll be needing and for which holidays.
