Seasonal Programs
Easter Baskets
ECO offers two Easter Programs each year for families living in the Edgerton School district. ECO participants can register to receive a ham basket complete with all the fixings for a traditional Easter meal through the ECO Food Pantry. Easter Baskets for children are provided for children ages 0-12. Parents can register to receive a basket for their children through the ECO office.
Back to School
Students residing in the Edgerton School District can register to receive school supplies through ECO’s Backpack Program. Registration begins July 1st each year and parents are encouraged to register their students as early as possible. This program is made possible through ECO’s partnership with the Dave Pierce American Family Insurance Agency who promotes the annual “Stuff the Bus” campaign, support from our local churches, and the support of many individual donors.
Gifts for Kids
Gifts for Kids is a program that has been helping the Edgerton area since 1989! They specialize in providing gifts for children from birth to 5th grade. Sign-ups begin every October. Parents provide the Outreach staff with your child’s shoe and underwear/diaper/pull-up size. As well as the best description of the perfect present for your child. Gifts for Kids will also be distributing a family game for each family! For more information visit our contact page and make an appointment with Alyssa or Trinity!
Giving Tree
The Giving Tree Program is a gift program at Christmas time that focuses on providing gifts for children 5th grade -12th grade who reside in the Edgerton School District. Sign ups begin in October. Parents provide ECO staff with a list of two needed items and two wanted items for their children. These wish tags are anonymously coded and distributed at our local churches, community members, and local businesses. Shoppers fulfill the requested items and return the wrapped gifts to Edgerton Outreach for distribution. Tags are also available at Edgerton Community Outreach if you’d like to Adopt A Family!
The Adopt a Family Program is an additional gift program at Christmas time to assist families who need an extra helping hand during the holidays. Community donors are matched with a family in the Edgerton School District to ensure that they will enjoy a special holiday season. The Adopt a Family program is based on donor participation. If you are interested, contact us between October – December months. For more information visit our contact page and make an appointment with Alyssa or Trinity!
