Emergency Assistance Program

ECO offers a variety of services for those facing hardship. These services include but are not limited to energy bill payment assistance, transportation assistance (gas cards, minor car repairs, linking people into other ride services), and prescription payment assistance. Those needing assistance should call the ECO office at 608.884.9593 to schedule an appointment with one of ECO’s Social Services Staff. Staff will work through presenting issues with the person requesting assistance, ensure that other resources have been accessed if available, and together as a team will work towards a solution. Very often we serve people that have never needed assistance in the past. The presenting problem may be what brings a person to Edgerton Outreach, but the true value of our services is our staff’s knowledge of local resources and our teamwork approach of service with the end goal of those we serve increasing their level of self-sufficiency.
