Serving Those In Need

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry at Edgerton Community Outreach, Inc (ECO) provides a nutritious 2 week supply of food for those in our community facing food insecurity. Those seeking help from the Food Pantry should call the office (608.884.9593) to set up an appointment to register. Documents needed include ID for person registering, piece of mail, ID for all those that live in the household with person registering. Any questions about these items can be answered by any ECO staff. Guests visiting the pantry “shop” through the pantry with a volunteer. This open pantry model ensures that the food selections meets the needs of those requesting help. ECO, to the best of our ability, stocks personal care items and diapers. The Food Pantry is open Monday 10am-2pm, Tuesday 10am-2pm, Wednesday 1pm-530pm, Thursday 10am-2pm, and Friday 10am-2pm. Each month approximately 130 households visit the pantry and each year approximately 1000 unduplicated individuals benefit from the services of the Edgerton Outreach Food Pantry. ECO has the ability to accept non-perishable and perishable food items. The pantry is stocked by donations from the community, purchased food from Second Harvest Food Bank, and purchasing from local vendors. Funding for the Food Pantry is provided by community donations, The Steve Stricker American Family Foundation, and the United Way of the Blackhawk Region.
