Serving Those In Need

Temporary Thrift Store Closure/New Food Pantry Procedures

Posted on by Sarah Williams

COVID-19 is impacting life as we know it.  At Edgerton Community Outreach, Inc. (ECO) we are very concerned about the health and safety of those we serve, our volunteers, and staff.  It is for these reasons it has been decided that the ECO Thrift Store is closed until at least April 1st and quite possibly longer.

The Governor of Wisconisn, Tony Evers, has mandated that no one allows for groups of 10 people or more be congregated in any location to help stop the spread of COVID-19.  We miss seeing our daily shoppers and will feel the impact of not having this revenue source at this time but we are dedicated to making decisions that are wise and best for all we serve.

The Food Pantry at Edgerton Community Outreach is still providing food assistance to those in need.  Families that have fully registered in 2020 need to call the ECO office (608.884.9593) to have their names placed on the call in/pick up list.  A staff member will call you back, package your order, and arrange for you to pick up your order.  Delivery option for home bound persons and people without transportation is still available on Tuesdays.  If you haven’t registered in 2020 please call the office at 608.884.9593.  One of our staff will complete the intake process with you over the phone and then follow the above mentioned procedure.
