The 13th annual Million Dollar Giveaway to Fight Hunger begins March 1st. Philanthropist Alan Shawn Feinstein will challenge food pantries and hunger fighting agencies to raise dollars, collect food items, and raise awareness regarding hunger in the USA. He is giving away one million of his own dollars as he has done for the past 12 years to reward agencies for their efforts. Donations of cash and food items are proportionately matched during the months of March and April. The more that Edgerton Outreach collects, the greater portion of his million dollars we will receive.
The pantry is currently in need canned soups, hamburger/tuna helper, jelly, tuna, crackers, and pasta/potato side dishes.
